Inside this document
Parts listings occupy pages 2–36: motors, rear system, steering, ignition, lighting, carburetors, wheels, chassis, control and clutch, generator, body, fender, fuel, brakes, springs and sundry components. Pages 37–40 contain operating, lubrication, troubleshooting and electrical-care instructions and the original warranty.
The 44-page paperback reproduces all 42 source scans in order plus two clearly identified modern title and source/safety pages. It is the base book, not the 1914 supplemented edition or a comprehensive later workshop manual.
About this scan
Two free PDF parts retain the original scan pixels without resampling: Part 1 contains the front cover, index and original pages 1–20 (22 scans); Part 2 contains original pages 21–40 (20 scans). Open Part 1 with the main Open Free PDF button; use the clearly labeled Part 2 link below the reader for the remainder.
The circa-1913 date is source-catalogue attributed; no year is printed in the base book. The separate June 15, 1914 price-change supplement is excluded. Rear wrappers were unavailable and are not included. Original marks, paper wear and scan limitations remain. Historical instructions are not current servicing or safety advice. A physical print sample has not yet been reviewed.
Source and reproduction status
Ideal Motor Car Co. / Chuck’s Toyland faithful historical scan
The original American publication is in the U.S. public domain by term expiration. The base book is source-catalogued 1913 and was demonstrably in use by the associated 1914 supplement. These are straightforward faithful page scans without modern creative additions. The source gallery, home and About page were reviewed; no source-specific noncommercial restriction, permission request, download charge or restrictive reuse term was located. This is a U.S. public-domain assessment, not a claimed source license or worldwide clearance. Source attribution does not imply endorsement.
