About this scan

Complete 24 original surfaces: covers, inside covers, original pages 1–20, observed blank leaves and complete sideways request form. Circa 1920 is based on the original May 4, 1920 receipt stamp, not a printed edition year. The later detailed illustrated Series S instruction book mentioned in the original is separate and not included.

Original contradictions are preserved: page 4 specifies eleven to twelve PINTS of engine oil; page 17 says 11 to 12 QUARTS. Neither is endorsed as verified servicing advice. Page 13 prints “1275 specific gravity” without a visible decimal, reproduced unchanged.

Free reader retains the exact source images without generative repairs or rewritten technical text. Print reproduction adds two clearly identified modern opening pages, 26 pages total, in a 6 × 9-inch saddle-stitched booklet. Native scan wear and limited original contrast remain. A physical print sample has not been reviewed.
