Inside this document
Packard bulletin 56T-6 records Ultramatic changes made after the start of 56th-series production. Its tables associate revised pumps, rear-pump drivers, valve components and other transmission parts with unit serial numbers, dates and the reasons for the changes. It is useful for identifying which internal design a unit should contain. The later clarification in bulletin 56T-11 explains that production band settings in this list do not replace the service-manual adjustment procedure.
Subjects covered:
• Ultramatic pump revisions
• converter oil circuit
• rear-pump driver
• valve-body separator plate
