About this scan
Unchanged 363-page source PDF: original front cover followed by printed pages 1-362 in uninterrupted order. This is the 25 February 1943 base edition. The rear cover, blank cover surfaces and later change supplements are not present. Numbered service content is complete in this scan; completeness of every original unnumbered insert or wrapper is not independently established.
Each source page is a 300 ppi black-and-white bilevel scan. Body text, tables and line drawings are generally readable; photographs have limited tonal detail. Original library, microfiche and declassification marks remain. Ink partly obscures the repeated running title on printed page 2; the contents entries below it remain readable. OCR is searchable but imperfect: check technical values against the page images. Historical service procedures and safety practices may be obsolete or unsafe.
